The Past Builds Up The Future

I’ve been for working 9 years in my office-based job, it’s actually a little boring since it is a repetitive job. But since my children are free from paying tuition fees as one of the benefits from the school I’m working with, I stayed. I learned about what “sacrifice” means. Gave up some opportunities that maybe could make me happier in my career. Since the community, I’m with is stable enough, I’m afraid to lose the benefits. I met different kinds of people around the school, from administrators, faculty, students, and parents. I learned to deal with them with diligence. I also learned how to be extra careful with some insensitive people. Sometimes work could really be hard, but it’s really up to you on how to manage it, either finding ways on how to do it easily or just let it be that way. You should not only work harder but smarter! This job also instills values not only to students but also to its employees. As we begin every school event with a prayer or we offer masses. This leads me closer to God, as to compare with other companies that I have worked with, what matters to them is just get the job done no matter what the situation is, no considerations, and no excuses.

On the other hand, I found another job, that helped me to learn more about the online world. I got motivated to get out of my comfort zone so I can learn more things that I didn’t know before. This job made me explore my unknown skills and it helped me to find more of myself. Nonetheless, training is hard, but I hope I can surpass this with pure dedication and hard work.

As I believe in this quote: “Nothing can beat hard work and dedication.” by Jithin Saju.
