Experiences and Wisdom I learned from Training

These are the useful and valuable lessons I learned from my 3-week training at Empowering Entrepreneurs:

  • Budget your time. It is reassuring to know that you have ample time to work on tasks, and you will be able to finish on time. I find that allocating tasks to a limited number of time, makes it easier to track progress when I was working during the second week of training.

  • Relax. Know your capabilities. Work becomes easier when you don’t put pressure on yourself.

  • Limit your creativity according to the instructions given on the task. I was doing a lot of graphic design and I’ve done and redone it a lot of times, all because I was not consciously thinking of the branding.

  • Ask questions. There are times where I had a hard time comprehending the instructions, thankfully I asked questions, and it saved me a lot of time accomplishing the tasks. If you have queries, I am sure that either Google or another team member knows the answer.

  • Appreciate small victories. Small accomplishments ARE accomplishments. I think that every worker should be grateful for accomplishing every task no matter how big or small they are. It’s something to look forward to when you’re unmotivated and have a hard time looking for an inspiration or a drive.

Each one of us has different modes of motivation, but what is important is acknowledging that driving force and using that to help increase your productivity on your job endeavor.
