My Three-Week-Training Experience at Empowering Entrepreneurs

Starting out a new job can be nerve-wracking and exciting at the same time. New routines and new habits for a new job can boost your anxiety, especially in this time of pandemic.

It definitely was a new experience for me because I will be trained without a face-to-face interaction.

My first day started out with an Orientation: a brief history of the company, mission and vision, introduction of company members and management, and the brief overview of VA Tasks. After that, we then proceeded to establish my company persona with tasks such as shooting an introductory video, taking pictures of me working, and the set-up of my company email.

Thankfully, tasks in the first week of training were made to facilitate an easier transition to more complicated tasks in the second week.

I made three graphic images using Canva for task-specific purposes. Compared to Photoshop, Canva has made it easier to create graphics because of its user-friendly interface and its In-app graphics and fonts.

Second week of training is focused on Social Media Management. I was able to learn how to make a Content Calendar, create Contents to post on Social Media, and schedule posts using Social Media Management Apps.

At first, I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish the tasks within the allotted time. But thanks to the guidance of my trainer who gave me tips and guidance, it became easier to finish the tasks.

Third week of training is quite an interesting week for me. Email campaigns and making a landing page are concepts I’ve never heard of, so I was both excited and scared to delve into the work. After watching tutorials, I found out that it was not a new concept afterall. Thanks to Email marketing apps, email automation and other email marketing tasks are easier to do.

It was a hectic 3 weeks of training but it was fulfilling and meaningful. I learned a lot, and I look forward to learning more in the next weeks of my training at Empowering Entrepreneurs.
