On the way to Perfection

A few weeks ago, I just got hired in We Empower Team and I am very glad to be a part of the amazing team. I really like this job because aside from the reason that it is a work from home, it also gives me the opportunity to showcase my talent in editing, troubleshooting, and communicating. But of course, like any other job I need to undergo training. So the team leaders made a weekly activity in order for me to familiarize the job and the tools that we are using. I will be allotting my six weeks or one and a half months to learn what We Empower Team is doing.
It started with my Week one activity. The activities was in favor of me because it is about editing. I really like editing photos especially videos. I’ve been editing videos since I was Eleven using Sony Vegas Pro, so the first week was quite easy for me. I made graphic arts for social media platforms. Also, I learned to use Canva, because I’ve been using photoshop whenever I make a graphical layout. I also made a video promotion for We Empower Team that I edited as well to look like an online commercial. Also with the help of my team leader Khim, I am always guided by what to do next. Graphical contents and edited video contents are very important in online marketing because they serve as your content to promote what you are selling. That is why, when editing you need to be creative. Think of all the ways you can do to make the video or the graphical image eye-catching, in that way you can gain more followers and customers.

After finishing with my week one activity, the week two activity started. The 2nd week activity was all about post scheduling and making a content calendar. Now, the essence of the first week is to ready the content materials and for the second week is on how to publish and schedule the posting of your content materials. I first learned the use of the schedulers, Facebook scheduling, Hootsuite and etc. Next time I learned is how to make and organize a content calendar. So, I made a content and put in the contents in order to organize the schedule of posting. Using the schedulers are great help because it lessens your work time and avoids you from cramming. Also creating a content calendar is also important because it makes your scheduling well organized. The content and the captions are organized through their scheduled time of posting and it gives less hassle in managing your work time.
Moving into my third week in the training, the activities became more complicated because it is all about email marketing. I was introduced to the different tools that are being used in email marketing. Starting with Mailchimp which is used in creating a landing page for your marketing promotions, also it good to use for creative email messages. The next tool is the active campaign and it is best to be used in forming an automation. I was also introduced to LeadPages which is great to be used in creating a landing page because it is very user friendly. And lastly the Keap powered by Infusionsoft, it is quite complicated because there are lots of process in Infusionsoft but it is a great tool making a landing page, emails and most especially automation. Although I did not get a chance to use Leadpages and Infusionsoft, I just watched multiple video tutorials on how to use these tools. These tools are really great because it can increase the creativeness of your marketing. Also, it organizes the process of marketing your product to the people with the help of the automation.
As of now my week four activity is ongoing and writing this blog is one of my activities. And I am excited of what I have to learn this week and to the remaining 2 weeks of my training. I just keep working hard in this training because I am on the way to perfecting the job here in We Empower Team.
