My Journey in Becoming a Full-fledged Virtual Assistant

Updated: Aug 14, 2020

I have always wanted to know how it is to become a Virtual Assistant. Not everyone is given the chance to have this job, and so I made it a point to give my best to deserve it.

My first 3 weeks of training was great! It made me realize that I am in the right job and I knew that I will be enjoying it in the long run. During my 1st day of training, I was virtually introduced to the team in which I was so grateful as I felt welcomed by everyone. Ms. Phoebe, our CEO, was the first person who welcomed me into the team and one thing that I remember her saying is for me not to forget to have fun with what I’m doing as this will also reflect on the outcome of my work. Since then, I kept that in mind each day of training especially with every activity that I do. I’d also say that the first 3 weeks of training was great as my Trainer/Team Leader, Ms. Ten, was very helpful and she was always there to guide me and address my questions or clarifications. I felt good and happy to be working with such nice people which made me more excited each day.

The training process itself was fun and full of learning. I’m glad that their method was to let me self-study using the guide that was provided for me to follow. In that way, I was able to understand every module/information better as I had enough time to learn them at my own pace. Then whenever I had clarifications, Ms. Ten was always there to help me and provide additional information when necessary.

After those 3 weeks, I am more confident now with my knowledge when it comes to social media management, creating content calendars, email marketing/automation, and creating landing pages as well as creating and designing your own website. Now I look forward to the rest of the Training and to more learnings for me to become a full-fledged Virtual Assistant of Empowering Entrepreneurs.
