Coping up with Multiple Clients and Their Needs

As a Virtual Assistant, I work with many clients. Currently, I have a 20-hour client and two others whom I work for 10 hours each. That composes my 40-hour workweek. This is a very common occurrence with Virtual Assistants – meaning you rarely find one with just one client if you are looking at online job boards. So expectedly they have different requirements and varying timelines. And yes – timezones too!

This probably increased your curiosity about how I handle more than one client. The first thing I would do is to schedule which client I am going to work first, I prefer the one who has the easiest task or job assignment, after doing those with the nearest due dates. It’s easy to make your first step in that way – knowing which to prioritize.
As a VA, communicating online is a challenge due to time zone differences. I pack a lot of patience every day as I calmly wait for instructions to come trough. Being a VA brings a lot of experience to me when it comes to communication even if you’re miles away with the client. Thankful enough my clients are just the best! They reply back whenever I have questions and clarifications. Hats off to them for supporting VAs like me.
Coping up with different needs is easy because I love what I do. Plus the most satisfying part of it is when I do a job well and I make the clients happy too.
